What materials do you specialize in?
I love working in a variety of mediums! I'm also constantly learning to work with new methods and materials! I specialize in acrylic, watercolor, colored pencils, and ink. My favorite materials to work on are paper, canvas, and wood.
Are you currently taking on commissions?
Yes! Please contact me at brookefosterart@gmail.com to discuss commissioning an original art piece.
What do I do if I see something I like in the gallery page but I can't find it in the store?
If you see an image you like in the gallery but it's not on the originals page that means it was a commission or is an original painting that has already sold. If it's not in the print shop then email me at brookefosterart@gmail.com and I would be happy to see if I could accommodate your request. Not all paintings are available for print but most are! Please include the sizing you'd be interested in. Thank you!
Do you do other things besides painting?
Yes! I have taught fine art to students ranging from preschoolers to adults for the last 14 years. I offer private and group art lessons, step-by-step painting parties, collaborative murals, and custom art events. Please contact me if you are interested in scheduling lessons or an art event!
Do you do consulting for aspiring art teachers?
Yes! I have 14 years of experience teaching fine art in schools, camps, and privately. I have primarily taught in private Jewish schools and I, myself, am a Torah Observant Jew, so I pride myself on having a unique perspective and set of sensitivities while still offering a fully rich and diverse art curriculum and style of classroom management and conduct. I am happy to set up a phone or in person consultation for aspiring art teachers and experienced art teachers who want to be more successful in specific areas. Do you make art for synagogues or public spaces?
Yes! I have made paintings and done projects for synagogues and public spaces and am happy to discuss making a custom painting for any synagogue or organization that is interested!
