The Aron of the Beis Hamikdash

The subject of the Aron (Ark) in the Beis Hamikdash is a fascinating and mysterious entity. When the Temple stood, it was quietly hidden in the holiest area for the Kohein Gadol (High Priest) to visit only once a year. But who made this glorious vessel? I studied the book of Exodus in the Torah and found text relating to its construction by the artist Betzalel. I wanted to honor the original artist and showcase the Aron in all its golden glory with his story winding within it.
